Dr. Mesa grew up in Miami but moved out of town after college. He has lived in Connecticut, Indiana, and Missouri. He returned after graduating from medical school and completed his training at Jackson Memorial Hospital. He loves the outdoors, including going on yearly hiking trips and has hiked to the top of several 13ers and 14ers in Colorado, as well as kayaking and paddle boarding here in Florida. He is also an avid reader who enjoys both fiction and non-fiction works. While he and his wife truly enjoy art and music, he is no one’s idea of a great artist or musician.
